The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced
Front-End
Web Developer.
This position offers opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a creative edge to get involved with all aspects of user interface and Front End development of CBN's web properties. This professional will work in collaboration with CBN's backend and creative developers to create dynamic web interface that provide a high-level of user experience to users on mobile, tablet and desktop devices
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :
Strong web application architecture and design skillsStrong javascript background, able to jump into multiple frameworks as neededExperience working directly with a product manager and designer to turn a design into a real productGood understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASSProficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQueryGood understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git2 years of experience working in a web application environment with an emphasis on OO technologies applied to Internet facing applicationsBachelors or equivalent number of years of experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for development, and testing of Internet applicationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a teamStrong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport with all levels of management and staffFlexible with ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
