We are looking for an Instrument & Controls Designer to start working with a client of ours in Manassas, VA as soon as possible. This candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facilities.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Required by ClientAssociate of Applied Science degree in Electronics or InstrumentationMinimum of 10 years of experience in I&C designProficient in using AutoCAD and RevitStrong understanding of Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) with ANSI / ISA S5.1 symbologyFamiliarity with analog, digital, and relay field wiring and troubleshootingKnowledgeable in PLCs and SCADA systemsExperienced in specifying instruments and creating ISA datasheetsSkilled in reading and writing industrial SOOsMust reside and be eligible to work in the United StatesPreferred by ClientExperience in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of pressure, temperature, flow, and level systemsExpertise in industrial networkingExperience in constructing industrial control panelsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Outlook, Excel) and project management software for delivery and schedulingBackground in semiconductor or general industrial facilitiesKnowledgeable in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power, and building automation system designPay Rate : $43.80 / hr - $76.63 / hrTerm : 12 months contractLocation : Manassas, VA 20110If you are interested and would like to hear more about this position, please contact Jacob Perry at (470) 203-9211 or jperry@selectek.com
