CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary
Specify instrumentation and control systems equipment, request quotations, and coordinate instrument needs with piping and mechanical designers.
Assist junior designers with technical details of electrical and control system design.
Review all construction packages for accuracy and constructability.
Estimate project costs and write proposal content.
Effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Work efficiently and effectively on a team with remote members.
Create plans or documents that support construction, testing, or commissioning.
Provide or lead on-site support for construction, commissioning, or turnover.
Responsibilities
Experienced in all aspects of project engineering, design, installation, and commissioning.
Proficient use of AutoCAD / MicroStation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Access, PowerPoint).
Proficient use of computer and web-based tools.
Knowledgeable of NFPA / NEC, ISA codes and guidelines.
Effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Education Requirements
Technical diploma (2-3 years) with discipline specific training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred : Training in leadership and project execution.
