We're looking for a dynamic and strategic writer, storyteller and project manager that isn't afraid to jump in on projects, is solution-oriented and has a knack for problem solving. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to convey complicated topics and information in a simple and creative way. The Manager of Internal Communications will work with internal stakeholders to help them optimally reach the right audience, with the right message, at the right time, through the right channels. This person will act as an internal marketer and should always be looking for new and exciting ways to reach our employees. This role reports to the Sr. Director Communications Events & PR.
Responsibilities Include :
Develop and lead strategic internal communications plans to support key business initiatives, change management efforts and cultural priorities, ensuring alignment with company goals and leadership messagingOversee the creation and execution of compelling, high-impact communications and campaigns that engage employees and reinforce company values, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistencyAnalyze and measure the effectiveness of internal communications strategies by tracking key metrics, gathering employee feedback and providing insights and recommendations when neededManage content, speakers and run-of-show for internal All Hands meetingsDevelop content, design graphics, publish and track engagement for our weekly all-employee newsletter, The Bargain BulletinSupport event planning and execution for various internal and external events10% travel required throughout the year for store visits and various meetingsAbout The Pay :
Base Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000 AnnuallyAnnual Bonus ProgramEquity401(k) Profit SharingMedical, Dental, Vision & More!Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.About You :
5 years in marketing, communications, retail or related disciplineBachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related fieldExperience giving feedback to all levels and leading a small team a plusSolid written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and an eye for catching spelling, grammar and sentence structure errorsAbility to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and subsequently develop clear communications with minimal guidanceStrong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive and deliver multiple projects simultaneouslyOpen to feedback and suggestions : You thrive in a highly collaborative environment that is also rich in feedbackExperience successfully driving projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, often ambiguous, and ever-changing environmentAbility to build strong partnerships and influence cross-functionally and vertically throughout the organizationExperience with intranet and web-based email design platforms preferredAdvanced skills in Canva, Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Editor
