As Internal Communications Specialist, you will develop and implement internal communications that strengthen Ascensions culture, associate experience, and operational priorities, supporting Ascensions Mission Integration, Community Impact, and general Internal Communications teams' organization and strategies.Responsibilities : Implement strategic and measurable internal communications plans for Mission Integration and Community Impact strategies, focused on associate engagementProvide internal communications counsel and support to Ascensions Mission Integration and Community Impact leadersCombine strategic thinking and big-picture perspective with attention to detail, clarity and focusDevelop internal communications content, campaigns and events that support our operational objectives and our internal brandProactively identify trends, risks, challenges and solutions to process adoption, and lead and support change communication effortsSupport team with logistics and operations such as compiling and reporting metrics, slide decks, tracking progress towards department goalsWork with Director on designing, implementing and maintaining operational functions for the Internal Communications teamEnsure that communications reflect the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension as a healing ministry of the Catholic ChurchComplexity of Work : Requires excellent writing and project management skills, as well as critical thinking, strategic counseling and decisive judgment.Ideally the candidate will also have a knowledge of the evolving healthcare market, Ascensions history and current initiatives, and communications practices and standards.Must be able to work in a high-performance, fast-paced, remote-first environment.#marketingcommunicationsRequirements

Education : High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Additional Preferences

Education : Bachelor's Degree - 5 years in an internal communications role, ideally with experience working in a healthcare provider system or similar services organization.Work Experience : Experience executing communications plans and campaignsExperience with executive communications and counselAbility to write and edit engaging and visually appealing change communicationsAdept at the rapid development of content in support of organizational communications needsExperience working against clearly outlined KPIs and supporting the reporting of results to multiple teamsStrong collaboration skills with other team membersStrong organizational and project management skillsJournalism, public relations, or communications degree preferredWhy Join Our Team
