Job DescriptionJaney is seeking a highly motivated and confident Marketing Coordinator who will assist the Internal Affairs Manager in designing marketing materials and coming up with marketing solutions. This position will be working directly with the Internal Affairs Manager to plan, analyze, design, and create print and web graphic materials that educate and inform both internal and external audiences about Janey and what we have to offer.This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgement and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. The Marketing Coordinator will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from start to finish. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Creative Suite and will be able to deliver projects in a timely manner.Duties & Responsibilities Marketing (50%)Lead marketing projects such as proposals, press releases, company events, photography, etc.Help manage the social media accountsContact and negotiate with print companies for cost quotesCommunicate with website director to ensure correct messaging from a design perspectiveManage company events - brainstorming ideas on how to increase employee engagementGraphic Design (50%)Lead design efforts for various marketing projectsCoordinate, design, and produce a variety of marketing material and collateral which may include brochures, catalogs, print ads, posters, fliers, booklets, and PowerPoint slidesAssist in developing marketing concepts for projectsResearch the effectiveness of designs and layoutsResearch competitor’s websites and socials for visual and concept approaches and comparisonsProvide creative support for web graphic needsEnsure brand consistency through all marketing materialCreate a library of pictures to use for marketing materialsQualifications Proficient in a wide variety of administrative functions and highly skilled in the use of office equipment and computer software including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft OfficeEffectively manages and prioritizes tasks / projects with little supervisionExcellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenAbout Janey Founded in 1984, Janey Construction Management provides professional services throughout the Northeast, bringing our solid reputation for quality to each new endeavor.
