Logistics Communication Coordinator
General Summary & Scope
- Be the primary point of contact for contracted carriers, retail stores, and distribution centers.
- Perform daily tracking and tracing of carriers.
- Proactively follow up to ensure service results are achieved.
- Notify relevant parties of any potential service failures (i.e., supervisor, carrier, store).
- Ensure timely specialized deliveries by coordinating with stores.
- If needed, tender outbound loads to contracted carriers through TMS (E2Open).
- Create various reports using Microsoft Excel for analysis.
- Audit delivery schedules and carrier timelines for accuracy.
- Manage customer service hotline calls and troubleshoot issues.
