Otter Products is recruiting for a Manager, Public Relations to join our Integrated Marketing team. This position can be based at our Fort Collins, Colorado headquarters working a hybrid schedule.As the Manager, Public Relations, you will lead a team of specialists focused on public relations and internal company communications to support objectives defined by upper management. In this role you will develop the public relations strategy for all Otter Products brands with latitude to make decisions based on unit objectives and within company policies and procedures, while providing mentorship, development, and support for your team. As the Manager, Public Relations you will play an active role, contributing to the development and execution of company communication plans. Responsibilities : Media Relations
Work closely with agency partners as well as internal brand, product marketing, digital media, social media, and other teams to develop an earned media strategy in-line with company and brand goals, building brand equity and driving mental availability for Otter Products and its brands.Responsible for determining, measuring, and reporting on team KPIs and goals.Support outreach to media, utilizing internal data, as well as key seasonal, brand, and product stories to build a steady flow of press opportunities and coverage.Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media to connect with brand and company goals, as well as manage external public relations agency partners.Analyze business and end-user insights / trends, identifying key issues facing the business to build and execute innovative marketing communications plans.?
Team Leadership
Proactively develop, lead, coach, and motivate a group of skilled professionals and external partners, who can generate optimum short-term business results.Responsible for the management and oversight of the public relations budget
Corporate Communications
Work with leadership to provide communication guidance when needed and partner cross-functionally to share information.Maintain and implement crisis communications plan.
Develop internal communication strategy to support business needs and guide execution of internal communications tactics.Serve as corporate and brand spokesperson, as needed.Qualifications : Bachelors degree required. Degree in marketing, communications, or business is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.Minimum of six years of marketing and / or marketing communications experience required.Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.Consumer, B2B, and internal communications experience preferred.Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written; experience writing for various audiences.Highly developed knowledge of current media relations and corporate communications best practices.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum : USD $125,000.00 / Yr.
