JOB SUMMARY :
The Utah Hockey Club is looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to join our marketing team for the 24 / 25 Season. This position will support the marketing Sr Project Manager in coordinating daily and large-scale projects that support all areas of Smith Entertainment Group, including corporate partnerships, ticket sales, youth programs, community relations initiatives, brand campaigns and more. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in sports marketing and help you develop marketable job skills as you pursue a career in sports marketing and project management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Daily project managementMeet or communicate regularly with key stakeholders regarding upcoming projectsPerform daily check-ins with members of creative production teamOutline daily or weekly tasks involved in each project and delegate to designers, editors, etc. according to skill setsRespond to all production-related communications in a professional mannerGather and distribute production materials on-timeLearn the necessary project management computer software and network directory systemsSeek to improve company-wide processes by assisting several departments regularlyExemplify The Utah Hockey Club mission and values : transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.Other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES :

Currently studying or recently graduated in marketing, project management or a related fieldAvailable to work 20-25 hours a week including some nights and weekendsPrevious marketing or project management experience (preferred)Previous experience with project management software (preferred)Positive attitude and team orientedWillingness to learnExcellent follow-through skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at oncePHYSICAL DEMANDS :
This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.DURATION & COMPENSATION :
This role is for the duration of the current season, with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs.Earn $17.00 per hour for your contributions and dedication.
