The Role in Brief :

Marketing Quality Control Specialist

The Marketing Quality Control Specialist improves the quality and production of our web products and email marketing campaigns for our higher education partners. In addition to performing quality control testing, this position is responsible for active contributions to team discussions and communicating observed areas of needed improvement. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on our internal products.

This role is based in Richmond, VA.

This position is also listed as Marketing Quality Control Specialist for posting purposes; the official title of this hire is expected to be Quality Control Specialist to align with EAB business norms.

Primary Responsibilities :

Perform QC testing : review and test all emails, web pages, reports and administrative areas for functionality, appearance and general adherence across a comprehensive list of platforms, browsers and devices

Ensure the consistency of digital campaigns, including all associated emails, and follow company standard QC guidelines

Document and communicate defects found during review and testing for efficient resolution

Serve as specific product Subject Matter Expert (SME) to keep team knowledgeable of functionality requirements, as well as to train for product updates

Perform additional tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications :

High School diploma or GED

Minimum 2 years of quality control or related experience

Experience using project management platform, preferably Workfront

Ability to manage time and tasks to meet established deadlines

Ability to collaborate in a small team setting

Familiarity with internet browsers

Demonstrated attention to detail to be able to locate errors in digital media forums

Proficiency using a PC, Mac and various mobile devices alongside Microsoft products (Outlook, Word and Excel), as well as Adobe Acrobat

Ideal Qualifications :

Experience with creating and editing training and process documentation (i.e. Confluence)

Basic knowledge of Acquia Campaign Studio marketing automation software

Compensation :

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $45,000-$47,500 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
