The Southern Humboldt Joint Unified School District crosses two counties, Mendocino and Humboldt, in the heart of the redwoods, extending from remote, mountain areas, to the Eel and Mattole River valleys, to Kings Range and out to the Lost Coast of the Pacific Ocean. Our current enrollment is approximately 700 students.

Job Summary
Under general direction, to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures pertaining to a school site instrumental music program; to serve as a resource concerning instrumental and general music instruction; to instruct and train orchestra, bands, dance bands in musicianship and performance activities; and to do other related functions as directed.
