The opportunitySouthern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for Adjunct Instructors for our School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE) to teach in our Digital Art and Design program. Reporting to our Associate Dean of SASE, we are looking for a video professional and / or instructor who approaches videography as a creative visual communication tool for the exploration of abstract concepts, creative endeavors and the human condition. The successful candidate will introduce students to video aesthetics, and techniques, as well as provide students with hands-on production experience.Course : COM-244
Digital Video Production : Level 1Monday and Thursdays 2pm-3 : 15pm ESTWhat you'll do : Teach and mentor students in digital video production, emphasizing video aesthetics, techniques, and hands-on production experience.Guide students in using video as a creative visual communication tool to explore abstract concepts, creative endeavors, and the human condition.Provide instruction on the fundamentals of all production stages, including camera operation, lighting, audio, and digital non-linear editing.Lead lectures, conduct technical demonstrations, and facilitate discussions on notable video and film directors.Support students in production planning and coordination as they develop creative projects.Review student work and provide timely, constructive feedback to enhance their technical and creative skills.What we're looking for : Master's degree in a related disciplineTeaching experience at the college levelStrong understanding of the fundamentals of all stages of video productionCamera / lighting / audio / editing equipment usageExperience in the use of the camera as a visual toolExperience editing in a digital non-linear environmentProduction planning and coordination#LI-OnsiteWe believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.
