This position involves direct management of key supporting departments, including Maintenance, Shipping, Quality, and Human Resources. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize operational performance across the plant. A deep understanding of flexible packaging, specifically in wide web flexographic (flexo) printing, is essential for this role.Responsible for implementing and overseeing various continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma, to streamline processes and reduce waste. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency. The manager will also be tasked with analyzing data to identify trends and make informed decisions that will drive efficiency improvements across the facility. In addition to technical expertise, strong leadership and coaching skills are essential for this position. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to present ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders, including the CEO, COO, GM and department heads.Responsibilities
