Medica's Provider Demographic Coordinator is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering new demographic information into databases such as COPIS, HealthRules, COSMOS / NDB, and Symfact. This role ensures that provider demographic records are maintained and updated to support accurate claims processing and network reporting, which directly impacts both members and providers.The Coordinator will collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure that provider data is correct and up-to-date for Medica members, employer groups, brokers, providers, and regulatory agencies. It is essential that the Coordinator understands the upstream and downstream effects of accurate data entry and is able to identify and communicate potential impacts.This position requires the ability to interpret and process provider demographic requests, ensuring that information is entered correctly across various systems. Experienced staff members in this role will also assist in updating policies and procedures, as well as training new staff on demographic transactions.The Coordinator works in a production-oriented environment and is expected to meet established production and quality standards. The ability to manage shifting priorities and adapt to change is essential.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required2 years of relevant work experienceExperience with COPIS or HealthRules databases is preferred

This position is a Remote role and will work remotely 100% of the time. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have a primary home address located within any state where Medica is registered as an employer - AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI.The full salary range for this position is $40,500 - $69,400. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and / or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
