Job Details
Responsibilities :
3D modeling (in Solidworks Professional 2024) of solar array hardware, including structural elements, mechanical hardware / fasteners, electrical cables, assembly configurations, and components for simple fabrication (such as brackets).2D drafting (in Solidworks Professional 2024) of assemblies, general arrangement drawings, and detail views.On-site here in Mather (not remote) 7 am – 4 pm.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience :
7 years minimum recent mechanical design experience with Solidworks 3D and 2D CADWorking knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 drafting standardExperience working within a Product Data Management (PDM system)Excellent attention to detail and communication skillsHigh proficiency in 3D cable / hose route modeling preferred
Location on site in Sacramento7a-4pm Monday- FridayProject length about 8 weeks
