Job Summary
This may include some or all of the following : scheduling patient appointments, retrieving insurance authorization for all surgeries, testing and procedures; maintaining and updating physician schedules. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health’s values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
Accountabilities
- People : Coordinates surgeries and information with other physician offices as needed; assembles patient charts and answers patient’s questions regarding surgery and testing.
- Service : Ensure that customer service targets are met.
- Quality : Responsible for validation of documentation as it relates to scheduling verification and authorizations.
- Growth : Communicate and work well with physicians and department staff to accomplish assigned duties.
- Finance : Execute policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of the services while meeting departmental budget goals.
