WHAT WE’RE OFFERING
Are you ready to make a difference in a company dedicated to eliminating the digital divide and driving economic growth in Middle Tennessee? United Communications is a dynamic and growing technology company seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is a brand-new individual contributor role, based in our Franklin, TN office. We are passionate about serving consumers and businesses in Middle Tennessee with fiber internet, VoIP products, and other innovative solutions. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a creative professional to join our team and take our marketing efforts to the next level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
Represent our company and brand on social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram.Understand the differences in various social media platforms and develop a monthly social media calendar with posts for all social platforms to tell our company’s story.Respond to 100% of comments on our company’s social posts and Google reviews in a timely manner.Develop ideas and create unique reels and short-form videos to drive conversions.Track and analyze all social media metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to increase positive engagement, grow followers, and drive sales of products and services.Evaluate emerging social media platforms to assess their potential as effective channels for sharing our brand story.Attend company events across Middle Tennessee to capture photographs and videos for use on social media, the website, marketing collateral, and more.Develop video concepts and outlines, collaborating with the creative team to produce high-quality marketing videos. This includes scripting, shooting, editing, and distributing content across relevant platforms.Visit new greenfield residential developments within United’s service area to build relationships with realtors, staff at model homes or sales offices, and other key individuals. The goal is to market to consumers visiting or purchasing residences in these developments.Design, create, and edit marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, data sheets, door hangers, yard signs, and more, ensuring alignment with our brand voice, strategy, and marketing campaigns for greenfield developments.Analyze marketing data related to the above responsibilities and generate regular reports / dashboards to track performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements.Work closely with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams, including sales, community engagement, market development, and product development, to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform and refine our marketing strategies.WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.1–2 years of proven experience in marketing, sales, or customer service.Prior experience in telecommunications or ISP industry is desired.Prior experience in a creative marketing agency or managing third-party marketing vendors is desired.Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and aesthetics.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva; Adobe Creative Cloud certification preferred.Expertise in social media management and storytelling.Experience in video production.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Desire to quickly become proficient in multiple tools and platforms used by the marketing team.Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills.Highly organized with exceptional time management skills, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.WHO WE ARE
