Be responsive across different screen sizesInclude detailed case studies (not just visuals—show your thought process!)Clearly outline your role in the process and how you problem-solved
Must-Have SkillsFigma proficiency – You should be comfortable prototyping and refining designs quickly.Strong graphic design and illustration skills – Ability to create custom visuals, icons, and infographics to enhance digital experiences.Adobe Creative Suite Certification – A solid foundation in graphic and UX design tools.A strong understanding of UX / UI principles, usability, and accessibility.The ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and not get stuck on one idea.Formal design education is required unless you have extensive experience.Degree in Graphic Design, UX, Brand Design, or Human-Computer Interaction preferred.Bonus Points ForExperience in financial services or designing for a regulated industry.A portfolio from a top-tier design program.Experience working at a startup, where you’ve had to be adaptable, solve problems creatively, and build from the ground up.Why Join Roots?Your work will help people build real wealth.
