The Video Surveillance Monitor Technician observes assigned patients in the hospital facilities. Working under close supervision, this role supports the redirection of patients from engaging in risk behaviors in order to reduce threats to themselves and others.
Reports emergency or dangerous situations to superior in order to reduce the risk of patient injury.Utilizes an AvaSys Telesitter Solution electronic software system for efficient patient monitoring.Visually observes patients at all times in order to immediately notice changes in behavior.Documents patient information in order to accurately report findings in approved systems.Protects secure patient information in line with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act to ensure confidentiality.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION : Required : High School Diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCE : Required : 1 year of related experienceLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRY / LISTING : Required : NA I or II CertificationEqual Opportunity Employer At Cone Health, we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates a diverse and unique workforce.
