AV PROJECT ENGINEERLocation :
Redmond / Bellevue Washington (Hybrid Contract)
Under the guidance of Puget Sound Project Managers, Global Program Manager and / or a project team, the Project Engineer adheres to and ensures that the projects deliver the as-sold solution, remains within baselined budget and are delivered on time, while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client satisfaction. This individual will help manage delivery of the project or projects according to the Project / Program methodology. The Project Engineer needs to have a fundamental understanding of business and project processes, structures and control requirements. The individual has a good understanding of AV project life cycles, taking responsibility for all finishing aspects of projects.
AV Project Managers' Key Roles and Responsibilities : Overseeing the Development of AV Architectural Drawings, System Flows, Cable / Conduit Risers, Product Detail pagesReviewing and refining Bills of MaterialCommunicating Infrastructure and architectural requirements to construction teamsCommunicating System implementation plans to installation teamsCommunicating AV Networking requirements to Client’s Network teamsIdentifying and developing Change OrdersPreparing, Scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring all assigned projectsCommunicate affectively during daily interactions with clients to interpret their requirements
Qualifications : Engineering qualification / diplomaCTSCTS-I and -D advantageousThorough understanding of Audio Visual and Video Collaboration
Experience : 5 years of experience with architecting and implementing Audio Visual technologyExpert experience with medium to large scale commercial Audio-Visual Systems including : AV Networking Topology Large flat screen displays Speakers Audio DSPs Matrix mixers / switchers Soft-Codec Systems Video conferencing codecs Custom control systems Projectors
