Position Summary
Art Directors are visual leaders responsible for the creative execution of marketing and advertising strategies. They collaborate closely with Sr. Art Directors, Creative Directors, Copywriters and other creative team members to develop and deliver compelling campaigns, from initial concept to final production-ready assets. This role requires a strong understanding of retail marketing creative, visual communication principles, brand identity, and current design and cultural trends within the advertising industry.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a team of copywriters, creative directors, and designers
- Translate conceptual ideas into visual presentations, mockups, and storyboards, ensuring visual consistency and brand alignment
- Develop and present compelling creative solutions to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively
- Work closely with designers, illustrators, photographers, and other vendors to oversee the creation of high-quality assets
- Maintain proper layout and conceptual execution throughout all phases of campaign
- Arrange copy and design elements with communication priorities in mind
- Collaborate and communicate with team members at all times regarding deadlines, revisions, quality control and new work
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience of marketing or advertising experience, preferably agency experience on either retail brand (Walmart, Target or similar) or Food and Beverage brands
- Educational or equivalent experience in Design, Fine Arts, Advertising or related field
- Good knowledge of design & cultural trends that can inform the work
- Must possess strong creative portfolio that showcases expertise and relevant experience across multiple mediums
- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong skills with MAC OS software and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and/or Keynote
- Can work well under pressure
- Highly motivated and well organized
- Can see other people's point of view, accept and address feedback
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
