Your challenge
- As a temporary HR Officer, you assist with all internal and external HR-related matters. You will work closely together with the Human Resources team in Mediagenix’ Headquarters.
- You manage the organization’s employee database and produce and maintain reports on the HR domain. You compile and process employee documentation and keep the SharePoint database up to date. Additionally, you play an important role in encouraging and supporting the US people in using the employee database.
- You are responsible for running all payroll, benefits, and health insurance related processes and working directly with our PEO.
- You participate in the development/update of organizational guidelines and procedures based on changes made to state and/or federal laws and regulations.
- You schedule and coordinate onboarding assignments
- You keep up-to-date with the latest HR laws, regulations, trends and best practices in all relevant States
- You work with our legal team on a variety of domains:
- Compliance
- Registrations in multiple States
- Business licenses
- Corporate housekeeping / admin
- You are surrounded by a great team of colleagues, and you work closely with the Managing Director and the VP of Operations, as well as with the HQ finance, legal and administration services. You report to the Chief People Officer
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related
- You can look back at 5 years of relevant working experience in HR.
- You have experience processing payroll. Experience working with a PEO is a plus.
- Thanks to your experience, you have a deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
- One of the key competences for this role is having a hands-on, detailed and solution-oriented approach. You are a pro at analyzing, documenting and thinking outside of the box.
- You ideally live in the South Florida area
- You are able to work 5-6 months starting beginning of June (with the possibility to start 2 weeks earlier if necessary).
- You are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship indefinitely
