Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Strategist with expertise in cross-platform digital media buying, campaign automation, and data-driven optimization. This role will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and optimizing high-volume campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms, including Search, Performance Max, YouTube, and Demand Gen. The strategist will leverage automation, audience segmentation, and real-time analytics to drive lead generation, maximize ROAS, and improve CPA efficiency.


This position requires great depth of tactical knowledge, and a well-rounded understanding of Search Engine Marketing. An ideal candidate must have strong experience in paid search marketing tasks such as keyword research, optimization, bid management, copywriting, automated strategies, A/B landing page testing, conversion tracking, budget management, and remarketing. Candidates should also have advanced working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Ads Editor and Google Analytics.


Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategize, create, monitor, maintain and optimize a high volume of Search, Performance Max, YouTube, and Demand Gen campaigns primarily through Google Ads. Oversee campaign performance growth while ensuring alignment with client ROI goals. Quickly implement optimization recommendations from digital strategists to maximize efficiency and results.
  • Work with both the Performance Marketing team and the Google team in the continuation of our partnership by adhering to best practices, performing beta testing, averaging high 80% account optimization scores, and continuously attaining high product and automation adoption levels.
  • Help the overall agency strategy evolve by being a leader within the Performance Marketing team, participating in scrums, Google and agency meetings and by continually testing and sharing results with the rest of the team.
  • Manage budgets effectively across all engines, campaigns, and channels, ensuring they align with business goals and forecasts. Experience in excel is a must.
  • Continuously perform A/B testing to refine messaging, enhance click-through rates (CTR) and improve conversion rates.
  • Report on key performance indicators and lead generation initiatives, calculate Cost Per Leads, project spend, adjust to demand and seasonality.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with department implementation teams, including design, content, social and digital strategy to align with broader marketing initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of professional PPC experience in Google Ads, specializing in managing, executing and optimizing high-volume campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube.
  • Expertise in keyword research, bid management, conversion tracking and A/B testing.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Ads and Microsoft Bing Ad Certifications
  • Experience with third-party bid management platforms (Skai, Marin).
  • Familiarity with programmatic platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Centro).
  • Experience with workflow/project management tools (Asana, Workamajig, Monday.com).

Supervision/Contacts:

Directly reports to the Manager of Performance Marketing


Work Environment:

Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.


This role reports in office 5 days/week (Monday - Friday). Fletcher Avenue & I-75


Physical Demands:

Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.


Travel:

Travel will be required rarely, if at all.

Total travel time will be less than 10% of the time.
