We are seeking a Senior Media Analyst, Insights & Analytics, who will play an important role in our future growth plans.

Job Description:

Are you passionate about storytelling through data? The Senior Media Analyst, Insights & Analytics will serve as a key member of the Insight and Analytics team responsible for delivering powerful insights to inform strategic audience, media planning and tactical optimizations. This position will work cross-functionally with account planning, activation, and technology teams as well as client in-house marketing and analytics teams and third-party suppliers to best leverage data available to bring to light actionable insights. PREVIOUS MEDIA RELATED EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Effectively deliver and present results to clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Dive deep into the data to formulate strategic recommendations and provide insights on audience and media strategies.
• Deliver transformational insight, with core accountability for: conversion tracking, media impact and media optimization.
• Help to drive decision making through data manipulation and visualization.
• Consult with clients and cross functional teams to develop a robust measurement plan.
• Maintain and develop data pipelines and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
• Applying the use of emerging tools and methods that Mediassociates uses to provide value added insights to our clients.

Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytics within a MEDIA AGENCY or corporate media marketing environment.
• Strong analytical skills, technical know-how and strategic thinking with hands on experience deriving insights from data.
• Excellent client facing communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of ETL process and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Experience with industry standard tools including, but not limited to Tableau, Big Query and Google Analytics.
• Understanding of online / digital media and their numerous media platforms, and how they coexist. (ie: Google Ads, Meta Ads).
• A working knowledge of offline media is a plus.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects and client deliverables with tight deadlines.
• Experience with any of the following are a plus: Competitor Analysis, Brand Lift Studies, A/B Testing, Forecasting, MMM.

Our office is located in Newtown, Connecticut. Local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team bonding that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area, who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office at a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
