Position: Inside Sales Representative
Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative must be knowledgeable of all equipment and supplies provided by Medic Sleep Care and uphold its standard for excellence. Responsible for competently and efficiently performing all tasks relative to the Brightree Connect order process and customer support in a friendly, professional manner. Responsible for knowledge of third-party reimbursement issues. Responsible for promoting products and services to referral sources and customer base. This position reports directly to the Resupply Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls, take customer orders, and key orders into software system as appropriate.
- Maintain open communications and confidentiality with customers and referral sources.
- Assist customers with orders and be knowledgeable of supplies, prices, and reimbursement.
- Obtain insurance information and verify according to company guidelines.
- Awareness of third-party reimbursement requirements, equipment and services offered and necessary documentation.
- Prepare appropriate documentation for billing.
- Key all documentation into the computer, verify all information for completeness and accuracy.
- Be familiar with the order confirmation process and provide follow-up as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and software accuracy.
- Willing to train in pertinent area of equipment/supplies as assigned.
- Responsible for attendance at in-services per company or manager?s request.
- Support the organization by being loyal and informing management of areas of concern and problems to be resolved.
- Participates in management activities as requested by upper management.
- Communicates referral concerns to management.
- Performs other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Prior marketing or DME experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personality:
- Able to function as a polite and cooperative team member with a positive attitude.
- Good computer skills required.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to handle multiple tasks with numerous interruptions.
- Must have a people sensitive personality with a desire to help others.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Qualifications:
- In an average 8-hour day the employee sits 6 hours. (These hours include up to 6 hours of data entry/phone work).
