What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Medica?
Medica's Account Manager is responsible for building relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client base, coaching clients on all aspects of Medica's programs/products and client implementation. This role will also be responsible for the effective and timely resolution of service issues. This is an opportunity that would allow you to work a hybrid of working from home, in office as well as community facing.
Qualifications:
The full salary range for this position is $67,100 - $115,100. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. Qualifications:
- Complete working knowledge and skill with ability to be fully proficient in professional field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree
- Large group - self funded, health plan products, medical benefits, carrier industry experience required
- Ability and willingness to learn the HealthRules platform and processes in addition to other Medica platforms as needed
- Account implementation experience preferred
- Experience with or an understanding of insurance brokerage preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel
- Presentation experience
- Project management skills
- Experienced written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner
- Ability to work with a variety of management levels
- Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fluctuating environment
- MN Life/Health License or ability to obtain within 90-days of employment required
