Description
The Design Analyst will support the Affordability team reporting to the Director, Affordability. This role is responsible for using Medica's trend and business reports as well as industry information to identify medical expense-saving opportunities, and design effective solutions for those opportunities. The Design Analyst will identify unmet consumer and business needs and collaborate with key stakeholders and leverage insights from areas such as Payment Integrity, Network, Pharmacy, and Care / Utilization Management (CM / UM).
Key Accountabilities
- Affordability Solution Design
Support ideation and development of affordability initiatives focused on key levers such as Payment Integrity, Network, Pharmacy, and CM / UM.
Review and utilize health plan data to identify trends in medical and pharmaceutical expenses and design cost-saving solutions.
Creating business cases, documenting background information and cost savings opportunity.
Engage with various departments, including finance, clinical, and network management, to gather insights and collaborate on solution design.

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office - Twin Cities, MN - , on average, 2 times per week.
The full salary range for this position is $87,100 - $149,300. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and / or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
