Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch-and-Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. We strive to offer a well-rounded education of the inner workings of a health plan. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you will be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year.

Medica is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Medica on the Delivery Excellence team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is looking to gain valuable experience and develop their skills with experienced professionals and dynamic work environment. This position will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects and contribute to the success of Medica. Interns will have a chance to work with a multitude of delivery teams to assist the scrum masters with software delivery, metrics, reporting, and other coordinating activities.

- Support Day-to-Day Operations
- Actively engage in daily operations and projects within the software engineering teams.
- Participate in Training and Development
- Take advantage of training and development opportunities provided by Medica to enhance skills and professional growth.
- Maintain Accurate Records
- Keep records and documentation up-to-date for assigned tasks and projects.
- Collaborate with Team Members
- Work effectively with team members, including Scrum Masters and delivery managers, to complete projects and tasks on time.
- Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s in IT, Health Care, or Business-related fields (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- High degree of organization and self-motivation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Results-oriented
- Strong coordination and facilitation skills
