Description
This position will oversee the procurement operations team and be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize procurement processes, ensure compliance, and drive value in procurement activities. This role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment with business objectives and enhance procurement practices.
Key Accountabilities
- Technology and Tools
Develop and implement procurement operational strategies, processes, and tools to achieve cost savings, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Develop and maintain consistent tools, templates and support models for Cost Benefit and Financial analysis, to enable fact-based vendor decisions
Develop and implement key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of vendor management strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Create and implement Supplier Diversity strategy for Medica, based on objective and data-driven approach, considering availability of diverse suppliers in the categories being sourced and contracted.
Lead and manage the Procurement Operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office in Minnetonka, MN , on average, 2 times per week.
The full salary range for this position is $127,800 - $219,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and / or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
