What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Manager - Delivery Excellence position at Medica?
This role is responsible for leading and managing Agile Delivery and Strategic Planning for Delivery Excellence (DE) team in partnership with Office of the CIO (OCIO) and the CTO within Medica Tech. The position will report to the Senior Manager of (DE). The purpose of the position is to ensure a consistent and strategic approach to applying information and technology across the enterprise, delivering value to the business, and coordinating high-dependency initiatives. They will partner broadly across the organization and with other technology teams to meet Medica’s business objectives and tech goals, leveraging an internal agile team and other vendor partners.
The candidate will have extensive knowledge of strategy and planning as well as experience driving programs and initiatives to successful conclusions within Healthcare Technology. Candidates must have knowledge of information technology concepts, strategies, and methodologies as well as knowledge of best practices and procedures.
The Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring the goals and objectives of the assigned programs and teams are met and ensures that the interrelationships between processes, people and technology are defined, managed and controlled.
Qualifications:
The full salary range for this position is $111,200 - $190,600. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 8 years of related work experience in Healthcare IT
- Advanced knowledge of Healthcare IT
- Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Project/Program Management
- Advanced skill explaining complex technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences including senior leaders
- Ability to anticipate and understand complex technical issues and generate solutions
- Advanced level of organizational skills
- Healthcare IT Experience in budget and financial management, strategic supplier management, KPI development and/or workforce management.
- Master’s degree in business, Information Technology or Healthcare, or equivalent work experience
- Agile or project management certification – Scaled Agilest, CSM, PMP etc.
