Description
The Procurement Initiatives Lead will report to the VP, Sourcing & Procurement at Medica and plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the newly formed Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement team, responsible for delivering savings, mitigating risk, ensuring quality, and maximizing value from third party vendors.
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and efficient, with a strong background in project management, financial acumen, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to deliver on defined goals and objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Creating the infrastructure and alignment necessary to define, prioritize, and deliver short- and long-term Sourcing & Procurement team goals and objectives.
- Driving transformational change across the organization related to the Sourcing & Procurement function by continually shaping the narrative to advance the information, actions and behaviors of the organization.
- Evolve the Sourcing & Procurement team culture, within Medica's culture, ensuring we live our values daily and deliver "customer service first" to our business partners and, ultimately, our clients and members.

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from our Minnetonka, MN office on average, 2 times per week.
The full salary range for this position is $98,400 - $168,600. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and / or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
