This person will be the driving force behind product launches, operating like a point guard—initiating plays, navigating cross-functional dynamics, and ensuring the right handoffs at the right time.
Success in this role requires deep experience collaborating across the full product development spectrum—from legal and underwriting to sales, marketing, training, and customer support. What You Will Do
Reporting to our Director of Product Enablement, we’ll count on you to plan and execute successful product launches. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead customer product launch implementation, guiding requirement gathering, planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Keep a watchful eye on ongoing customer product releases, ensuring they proceed smoothly and efficiently.
- Define a playbook for product and market launches that aligns with our business objectives.
- Document the necessary steps for customer product implementation, maintaining accurate records of configurations.
- Collaborate with technology teams to configure products in our systems and enhance the online customer experience.
- Support sales and marketing by providing insights on key product differentiators and messaging across our membership and insurance offerings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor products, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and suggesting improvements.
- Contribute to the creation of product materials, sales tools, training resources, agreements, and policies for effective product presentation.
What We Need From You
Our ideal Product Manager possesses:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Five or more years of experience in the Insurance industry working in product teams, business operations, user experience, product launches, process implementation, marketing, or strategy.
- A history in roles such as Project Manager, Product Manager, Operations Manager, Business Analyst, or Sales Operations Manager.
- Critical skills including strong analytical abilities, effective communication, creative problem-solving, research expertise, and remarkable organization and time management.
