Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and organized Medical Receptionist with experience in internal medicine settings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a friendly demeanor as the first point of contact for our office.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, direct calls, and schedule appointments efficiently.
- File medical reports, X-rays, and lab orders accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Use electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks) to update and track patient information.
- Perform administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle insurance referrals, prior authorizations, and imaging scheduling.
