Overview
Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative working in our on-site call center. Our Customer Service team has the opportunity to help and care for people at a time when they need it most.
Duties
- Answer phones and voicemails, remaining calm, friendly, and respectful at all times.
- Help patients with a wide variety of questions regarding all aspects of their healthcare.
- Answer questions and help other medical facilities communicate with our staff.
- Document messages in our electronic medical records systems and forward messages to appropriate department or staff in a timely and respectful manner.
- Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments for patients.
- Accept payment for balances and co-pays.
- Assist ill and distraught patients as quickly as possible.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing multiple calls efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computers.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
- A friendly and positive attitude.
Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico has provided Los Alamos and the surrounding areas with comprehensive and quality healthcare since 1995. Our multi-specialty office has 13 providers and sees over 2,000 patients a month. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
