Responsibilities
- Administer and communicate employee benefits programs across multiple platforms, ensuring accessibility and engagement
- Maintain compliance with benefit laws (COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to regulations
- ACA Recordkeeping/Filing
- Manage COBRA and coordinate with third-party administrator
- Oversee the annual benefits open enrollment process and coordinate education sessions for new employees
- Manage the benefits section of the intranet, ensuring it is up-to-date, clear, and user-friendly for employees
- Conduct benefit orientation sessions for new hires on a weekly basis during new employee orientation, and for newly eligible employees on a monthly basis.
- Resolve benefit-related claims and disputes, including medical and pharmacy claims, working with providers to ensure prompt resolution
- Timely respond to all emails, HR Support tickets, and voicemails
- Facilitate and plan yearly MANA Health Expo
Qualifications
- Three (3) years of benefit knowledge and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to independently manage reconciliations, generate reports, and analyze data. Experience with advanced Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas) is strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- SHRM Certification preferred not required
- Associates or four-year degree preferred not required
