MANA Family Medicine HarBer is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Family Medicine team. This individual will support patient care by taking vital signs, directing patients to proper exam/treatment room, and ensure all medications are up-to date. Reliable in-person attendance required. Full time Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-12

How to ApplyTo apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Applicants may list the position(s) they are interested in applying on the application and only need to complete one application. Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months. MANA is an equal opportunity employer.
Responsibilities
- Take vital signs, direct patients to proper exam/treatment room, and ensure all medications are up to date. Prepare patients for examinations and other procedures
- Make sure Meaningful Use requirements are addressed and met as appropriately delegated to the check in process
- Review daily schedules to ensure productive clinic flow; monitor charge tickets to reflect updates in insurance, patient demographics, etc.
- Clean and sterilize exam rooms and medical equipment according to infection control policies
- Maintain and stock exam rooms; monitor and order medical supplies
- Interact professionally with patients, families, and care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a clinical setting (12 months preferred)
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR software
- Ability to work in a physically active role (lift/move 10–50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking)
- Clear verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail
- Reliable in-person attendance required
- PCA certification, formal training as a CNA or Medical Assistant favored
