Medical Associates is seeking a motivated Finance Analytics intern who is ready to apply educational knowledge and business practices in a real-world environment. Finance Analytics Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Job shadow and train with finance analytics and support staff
- Assist in preparing reports, internal audits and document findings
- Assist in establishing medical underwriting practices to evaluate risk and rate calculations
- May perform additional projects upon request
Requirements
- Finance, Analytics, Math, Computer Science or related major, working towards completion of BA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Flexible hours with the capacity to work 20-40 hours per week
