What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist - Nights/Weekends position at Medical Associates?
Are you interested in a part-time nights and weekends position? Medical Associates is hiring a Part-Time Receptionist to join the team!
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Receptionist, you will provide outstanding customer service to our patients and clinical teams in a fast-pace environment on the computer, phones, and face-to-face as they assist with registration, check-in, insurance verification, and scheduling appointments.
- Schedule and coordinate multiple appointments.
- Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in person and relay necessary messages to staff.
- General knowledge of basic insurance coverage and financial classes.
- Act as a resource to assure, mentor and teach best practices to teammates.
Schedule: Position averages 28-30 hours per 2 week pay period. General schedule is 2-4 shifts Monday – Friday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and every other Saturday 7:30am and 12pm. Holiday rotation is required. Eligible for Part-Time Benefits!
Compensation: In addition to our competitive base wage, all shifts qualify for our excellent evening/weekend shift differential!!

Training:
Computer and insurance training is provided including working alongside a co-worker until you are comfortable
NOTE: Training is initially scheduled for the first few weeks during weekday clinic hours (8 am-5 pm) so you must be flexible/available to accommodate this schedule during training times.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: Equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: From three months to one year of similar or related experience.
