Tri-State Surgery Center is hiring a Full-Time Receptionist to be dynamic members of our registration and scheduling team!

Primary schedule: Monday - Friday between the hours of 5:45am -5:00pm, full benefits eligible!
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling all outpatient surgeries and procedures as requested by the
physician’s office staff, including instrumentation availability, timing of cases and any
request for equipment/Manufacture Representative. - Demonstrate effective customer Service skills by greeting customers in a polite, prompt,
helpful manner, checking them in, signing appropriate documentation, collection of
copays, non-covered procedures, date of service payments and outstanding balances as
well as relaying regulatory compliance statements. - Daily mail distribution, checking in students and industry representatives. Triage all
incoming phone calls. - Partner with Administrator to develop and maintain effective market program which
increase case volume and exceeded budget targets. - Entering data into the operating system after procedures are completed.
- Creating chart packets and labeling for future procedures, ensuring that the charts are
complete with correct documents. (ledgers, visit logs, orders, etc.) - Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: From three months to one year of similar or related experience.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussions.
Other Skills: Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. General computer knowledge with proficient keyboarding skills. Multi-line telephone system. Cash handling experience. Ability to work independently with limited direction, problem solving and resourcefulness.
