Medical Associates is seeking a full-time, Supervisor to join their team in the Physical Therapy department!
This role is responsible for supervising the Physical Therapy Techs and assisting the Manager of Physical Therapy in the administration of the physical therapy department. In addition, will support the department with management of chart preparation, insurance tracking, and patient scheduling.
Schedule: Core hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with flexibility required

Essential Duties:
- Management of chart preparation, insurance tracking, and patient scheduling.
- Manage the selection, training, development, performance evaluation and performance concerns for Physical Therapy Techs as direct reports. Prepare schedules and assign work to assure adequate staffing levels to deliver a high level of patient services, coordinating work flow and staff and making staffing adjustments as needed. Ensure Physical Therapy Tech compliance with Medical Associates Policies and Procedures. Act in full management capacity in Manager of Physical Therapy's absence. Coordinate the orientation, training process and competency evaluation for new Physical Therapy Techs.
- Other duties include but are not limited to administrative duties, equipment maintenance, maintain supplies, and record keeping. Ensure adequate scheduling of patient appointments. Assist Manager of Physical Therapy with established procedures for care and maintenance of department equipment. Order and maintain stock levels of physical therapy supplies including linen. Assist with all electronic therapy record keeping according to department policies and procedures.
- Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification at a business or trade school.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
