What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller position at Medical Billing and Consulting?
We are seeking an Ambitious, Dedicated, and Hardworking Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist to come join our team! Seeking a team player with a positive, energetic personality, detail oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to multi-task and work independently. One to two years medical billing and A/R experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Revenue Cycle, Payer Websites, CPT and ICD-10 coding. Knowledge of insurance plan guidelines and insurance eligibility /authorization process preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manage accounts receivable reports / Communication with Clients
* Submitting, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers
* Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame
* Review all insurance payments and advise clients of concerns/issues
* Contact insurance carriers regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
* All accounts are to be reviewed for insurance or patient follow-up

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
