MUST HAVE MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures in various settings, including urgent care and x-ray services.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient inquiries and ensuring comfort during visits.
- Support the coding process for insurance claims by accurately documenting procedures and diagnoses.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by physicians.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments and care.
- Familiarity with urgent care protocols.
