The Food Service II portions, tallies, and assembles trays. Delivers trays to the patient floors. Assists in main kitchen in serving employees at mealtime. Cleans and sanitizes equipment and surfaces in dietary. The Food Service II will fill in as a cook when it becomes necessary for the operation of the department. The position is responsible for performing a variety of functions necessary for kitchen operations. Previous experience in food preparation and tray assembly and knowledge of modified diets is desirable, but on-the-job training may be sufficient for reaching productivity.
