Requirements:
- ARRT Registered Technologist
- ARRT Registered Technologist, Computed Tomography
- Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
About the Job:
- Under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all CT procedures in accordance with ACR, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
- Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
- Technologists must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
- The CT Technologist is able to perform duties of an ARRT Technologist as required in addition to performing CT duties.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
