What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter/Locksmith position at Medical Center Hospital?
Position Summary:
Maintains lock system throughout the hospital and out buildings owned or leased by the hospital. Repairs door closures, locks and hardware. Supplies keys to departments as requested. Maintains all doors for construction projects and repairs all fire doors. Works as a Carpenter when needed.
Qualifications:
A. Education:
Must be literate, trade school desired.
B. Training and Experience:
At least two years apprenticeship or equivalent on the job training. Specific training or experience in key making and lock repairs.
C. Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of key work. Neat and clean physical appearance required.
