What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumber II position at Medical Center Hospital?
Position Summary:
Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipe fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain heating, water, gas and drainage systems for hospital. Adhere to all state, federal and local regulations in regards to plumbing.
Qualifications:
A. Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Trade or vocational school graduate.
B. Training and Experience:
Journeymen’s License with 2 to 3 years experience. Successful completion of certified specialty classes as related to plumbing codes.
C. Job Knowledge:
Must operate welding equipment and know sheet metal work. Be knowledgeable of chilled water ad cooling tower operations.
