POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Financial Counselor performs patient financial counseling, assessing patient ability to pay and method of payment. Performs patient registration. Prepares daily deposit. Maintains physician relations as well as patient guest relations. Works with minimal supervision.

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Typing speed of 45 wpm.
3. Sufficient previous Admitting Department experience (minimum 4 years), prefers previous Financial Counseling or related experience.
4. Word processing and spreadsheet experience.
