POSITION SUMMARY:
The Materials Coordinator, under direct supervision of the Director of Materials Management, is responsible for supervising the buying/purchasing of supplies. Maintains records and performs other clerical duties appropriate to the position. Responsible for the supervision of Materials Management staff as outlined by the Director of Materials Management. Plans and organizes with strategy to analyze information. Identifies, prioritizes and implements positive change. Keeps management informed of problems and/or improvement and organizes others to do so. Ensures maximized contract compliance on all purchases.

- Five or more years of experience in materials management.
- Knowledgeable of inventory control and of medical supplies and equipment.
