Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate budgeting and fiscal management activities, including expense tracking and resource allocation.
- Utilize practice management software such as eClinicalWorks or Practice Fusion for scheduling, billing, and patient records management.
- Facilitate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to ensure managed care processes are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their overall experience at the clinic.
Experience
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a dental clinic or healthcare setting is required.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and fiscal management principles.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Practice Fusion is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of managed care practices and regulations within the healthcare industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
