  • Job Summary : Travel RN position in Oncology at Medical City Dallas.
  • Number of Beds : 41
  • Staffing : Day Shift – 1 charge, up to 5 RNs, 2 PCTs per floor; Night Shift – 1 charge, up to 5 RNs, 1 PCT per floor.
  • Patient Ratios : 4 : 1 - max 5 : 1
  • Type of Equipment : Baxter pumps
  • EMR : Meditech
  • Typical Procedures : Blood and electrolyte replacement, sterile dressing changes.

    • Job Requirements

  • Must have strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
  • Solid understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement process protocols.
  • Preferred : General Medical Oncology understanding, familiar with ports and central lines.

    • Schedule Information

  • Rotating weekends and on-call shifts may be required.
